Making Something Meaningful

Making Something Meaningful

I should have started this blog earlier, and written more about my travels. Social media became the dumping ground for quick posts and pictures. It’s easier to do and… well… lazy.

It’s difficult to choose what to focus on for this blog, given the myriad subjects I’m interested in, and now with AI, trying to avoid sounding cliché (and like a robot). Should I write about filmmakers who employ social criticism, like Rainer Werner Fassbinder? Or do I stick to photography and travel?

I digress. My adventures here in Yellowstone are coming to an end. I hiked over 100 miles and made each day meaningful by doing something I enjoy: photography. My “Photo Every Day” project helped me get out and explore and experience amazing rainbows, animal encounters, and sunsets. I feel connected to the landscape and the rhythms of nature. My project made my time here meaningful to me.

*I will not be posting every picture, but I will update this article with my favorite pictures. More to come soon!
